Educational Visit to the Museum in Huye

Root Foundation recently organized an enriching educational visit to the Ethnographic Museum of Rwanda located in Huye. The visit aimed to provide our children and youth with a deeper understanding of Rwanda’s cultural heritage, traditions, and history.

During the tour, participants explored various exhibitions showcasing traditional tools, royal regalia, cultural artifacts, and historical information about the Kingdom of Rwanda. The experience allowed them to connect classroom learning with real-life historical evidence, making education more practical and engaging.

Our students were excited to learn about Rwanda’s rich identity, values, and evolution over time. The museum guides provided insightful explanations, helping the children understand the importance of preserving culture and appreciating national heritage.

At Root Foundation, we believe that education goes beyond the classroom. Visits like this inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and pride in our country. We are grateful for the opportunity to expose our children to such meaningful learning experiences and look forward to organizing more educational trips in the future.
