In 2025, Root Foundation had the honor of showcasing Rwanda’s rich cultural heritage during the prestigious UCI Road World Championships, hosted in Rwanda. Our talented traditional dance team delivered a vibrant and energetic performance that captivated both local and international audiences.

 Celebrating Culture on a Global Stage

The international cycling competition brought together athletes, visitors, and media from around the world. Root Foundation proudly contributed to the event by presenting authentic Rwandan traditional dances, highlighting the beauty, rhythm, and spirit of our culture.

Our performers wore colorful traditional attire and demonstrated powerful choreography accompanied by traditional drumming. The performance symbolized unity, resilience, and national pride.
