On 23rd, one day after the My Talent Show, we went to the National Museum of the Environment in Kibuye. Together with 50 of our Root Children we met at the Children’s centre at 9am in the morning. After three hours of sitting in the bus and having a lot of fun, music and laughter, we reached the city near to the Lake Kivu.
First, we had lunch in a restaurant where all children had tasty food. Afterwards we went to the museum where we learned some interesting things about Rwanda’s environmental development. We had a nice guide who explained all the contexts and lead us through the museum’s exhibition.
With all the new information and knowledge we left the museum for a closing boat trip which was the first time to leave mainland for all the children.
