Hand in hand with our children’s families

On 27 October, a Parents’ Fellowship took place during which our volunteer Providence discussed with our children’s parents about the topic “Parents’ impact on the preparation of their children’s future”. On top of that, the intention of this fellowship was also to encourage the parents to create a small business opportunity through handcraft work – a Parents’ Cooperative – in order to raise funds to support their families. We are convinced that this is a promising project; for our work goes hand in hand with a close cooperation with the parents who have a much greater impact on their children in everyday life than us as Root Foundation. Finally, we already experienced a great start of the handcraft activities with the parents on 5 November.
